Your product, your accounts

Privacy policy

Last updated: 14 October 2026

1. Who we are

Hypenado is operated by VECTORSPELL LTD (“we”, “our” or “us”), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17167562. Our registered office is Prime Apartments 483 Green Lanes, London, N13 4FG, United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us via [email protected].

2. What we collect

Your account

Your name, email address and a one-way hash of your password, plus your settings and saved defaults.

Your content

The website addresses you give us and the public pages and images we read from them, notes you write, screenshots and videos you upload, the product summary we make, your posts and their edits, and the images and videos we make for you.

Connected social accounts

When you connect a social account, the connection is handled by our publishing provider, Post for Me. We store the account's identifier, network, username, display name and profile picture so you can choose where to publish. We do not receive or store your social network password.

Billing

We do not store full card numbers or payment credentials. Payments are processed through Stripe Managed Payments. For eligible transactions, Link may act as the merchant of record, and checkout, receipts, invoices and subscription management may be provided by Stripe or Link under their own privacy terms. We may receive limited billing information such as your name, email address, billing country, payment and subscription status, invoices, and partial card details such as brand and last four digits.

Usage and technical data

Log data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, plus product events that record identifiers and technical details (for example, that a batch of posts was created). The text of your posts is not included in product analytics.

3. How we use it

  • To provide Hypenado: read your site, write and design posts, and publish them to the accounts you choose, when you choose.
  • To run your account and subscription, including billing and usage limits.
  • To send account emails and notices, such as email verification, password resets, posts waiting for your approval and publishing problems.
  • To answer support requests, keep the service secure and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • To understand overall use and improve the service.

We do not sell your data, share your content with other members, or use your content to train AI models.

4. AI processing

Hypenado uses AI providers to do the work you ask for:

  • OpenAI receives the text we read from your site, your notes and your post settings to write summaries and posts. When we read your product, it also receives small, low-resolution copies of your site's images and of the pictures you uploaded, so we know what each one shows. It receives the sound of the videos you upload, to write down what is said, and, when you choose an AI picture, a short scene description and optionally one of your images.
  • Google (Gemini) receives a scene description, and optionally one of your images to start from, when you create an AI video.

Our OpenAI requests ask OpenAI not to store responses for later retrieval. Providers process this data under their API terms and may retain it for a limited period for abuse monitoring. Do not upload information you are not authorised to share with these providers.

5. Who we share it with

  • OpenAI and Google, for the AI work described above.
  • Post for Me, to connect your social accounts and publish your posts, including their text, images and videos.
  • The social networks you publish to, which receive the posts you publish and handle them under their own terms.
  • Stripe, including Stripe Managed Payments and Link, for payments, tax, receipts and subscription management.
  • Resend, to send account emails.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers, including Amazon Web Services for servers and Cloudflare for content delivery, DNS and security.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our members or the public.

6. How long we keep it

  • Projects, posts and uploads are kept until you delete them or your account.
  • A sample made before you sign up (when we offer one) stays with the guest session that made it and moves to your account if you sign up.
  • Connected accounts are kept until you disconnect them or delete your account.
  • Account data is kept while your account is open and deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period after it is closed.
  • Billing and accounting records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Posts you published stay on the social networks until you delete them there. Deleted data may remain in backups for a limited period until those backups are overwritten.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law (and the GDPR where it applies) you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. You can delete projects and disconnect accounts yourself. To exercise any other right, contact us via [email protected].

8. Lawful bases

  • Contract: to provide your account, Hypenado and your subscription.
  • Legitimate interests: to keep the service secure, prevent abuse and improve the service, balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligation: to meet tax, accounting and other legal requirements.

9. Cookies and local storage

We use only what the service needs to work, such as keeping you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

10. International transfers

Some of our providers, including OpenAI, Google, Post for Me, Stripe, Cloudflare and Amazon Web Services, may process data outside the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum to the Standard Contractual Clauses.

11. Children

Hypenado is meant for adults and businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect children's personal data.

12. Complaints and changes

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), ico.org.uk. We will update this page when our practices change and tell you about significant changes.
